Life and Form

In celebration of Women’s month I styled a photo-shoot titled Life and Form directed by friend and fellow blogger You might recognize the garments used because most of them come from my very own wardrobe. I now see why girls love playing dress up with my clothes – because they look so good in them! The idea behind the shoot was to use authentic men’s clothes as a way of challenging the typical feminine androgynous wear which can be found in any retail store. Both Sakhi and I were determined to execute the looks that we had planned. However, as these things go there’s always a lot of impromptu involved at the actual event. Oh how I love styling and creating looks on the spot! Colour, form and depth were then used to add life to the shoot. It was amazing working with Sakhi as well as photographer and Gabrielle Pollock from

So be inspired to raid your brother’s/dad’s/boyfriend’s/husband’s wardrobe and show them how a real woman rocks an outfit! Heels and all.

Peace, Love & Fashion
